Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Fertilizer & Weed Control Technician who can also lead a Shrub Trimming Crew. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining healthy landscapes, and has leadership experience managing small teams.
Key Responsibilities

Fertilizer & Weed Control Technician Duties:
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control treatments in accordance with state regulations
- Diagnose turf and plant health issues and recommend appropriate treatments
- Operate and maintain application equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety requirements
- Keep accurate records of applications and customer services
Shrub Trimming Crew Lead Duties:
- Lead and supervise a crew performing shrub and hedge trimming services
- Train team members on proper trimming techniques and safety procedures
- Plan daily routes and ensure timely job completion
- Maintain quality standards for all landscaping services
Qualifications
- Valid state license for fertilizer and pesticide application (required)
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or turf management
- Experience leading or supervising a crew preferred
- Strong knowledge of plant health care and pruning techniques
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment (trimmers, blowers, sprayers, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
